Smile Brilliant cariPRO

Smile Brilliant recently asked if I would partner with them to review their new cariPRO™ Ultrasonic Toothbrush.  I enjoyed their professional whitening system so much that I was really excited to try their newest product!  I had actually been on the market for an electric toothbrush, but didn’t know which one to get.  I also didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a toothbrush and not end up using it.

Smile Brilliant toothbrush

I was gifted the Individual Package which comes with one cariPRO™ Ultrasonic Toothbrush, two premium replacement heads with tongue scraper & DuPont™ bristles, and one wireless charging dock.  The feel of the toothbrush was really nice.  Not awkward or heavy at all. The handle has a grey soft touch grip and is waterproof so it ca be used in the shower.

My favorite part of this toothbrush is that it has 5 brush modes: clean, white, massage, gum care, sensitive.  I have been going back and forth between clean and white. It also has an auto timer every 30 seconds for more even brushing.

After the very first use, I was hooked.  My mouth felt so much cleaner than it does after brushing with a manual toothbrush.  The Smile Brilliant cariPRO™ Ultrasonic Toothbrush removes 7X more plaque than a manual toothbrush does.  I could definitely feel the difference!  SmileBrilliant offers a 60 day risk free trial.  If you aren’t completely satisfied with it, return it for free!  It even comes with a 2 year warranty!

The brush heads are made up of thousands of premium angled DuPont™ bristles.  There are several options for purchasing replacement toothbrush heads. The 8 piece is the best deal!  They even ship worldwide!

I am offering 20% off with code theandislist20.  So grab yours today!  I am also hosting a giveaway.  Click here to enter to win your own Smile Brilliant cariPRO toothbrush!!

Do you use an electric toothbrush?  I would love to know what you think.  Check out Smile Brilliant’s FAQ page for more info on this amazing toothbrush!

Hayes Tough

Last year, I learned about this sweet little boy named Hayes, and his battle with childhood cancer. He is the baby of triplets born March 12th, 2015 and the youngest of 6 children.  He began to get sick and after being misdiagnosed several times, they finally discovered a tumor on his brain.  He was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer called choroid plexus carcinoma.  He received 6 rounds of chemo and a stem cell transplant.  Hayes went into remission for 6 months.  He brought hope to so many people but in November 2016, his cancer returned.  On December 3rd, 2016 at just 20 months old, he lost his battle. I cant even begin to imagine what the Tate family has gone through. I’ve spent hours scrolling through their Instagram posts and crying over a family that I don’t even know.  Cancer is devastating no matter what age the victim, but childhood cancer just isn’t even fair.  I have way too many “How” and “Why” questions about cancer in children to even begin to list on here but I am sure you have asked yourself the same ones.

Hayes’ parents, Steve and Savanna Tate, started a foundation dedicated to provide hope and financial support to families affected by childhood cancer. You can read more about Hayes Tough Foundation here.  I am so inspired by what they have been able to do and how Hayes’ story has helped so many families in similar situations.  I wanted to share a few ways that you could help.

Rachel Parcell released a dress last year in which all of the proceeds were donated to the Hayes Tough Foundation.  You can read her original post here.  It is one of my favorite fall dresses and has been brought back again!  She has also released a new dress this year in a beautiful sage green color to honor Hayes.  Being a triplet, Hayes’ assigned color was green. Green is a symbol of his courage and known as “Hayes Hints”. You can shop both of these gorgeous dresses at Rachel Parcell today.  All of the proceeds from these two dresses will be donated to the Hayes Tough Foundation!

We are proud to announce that we will be donating 15% of any sales on Shop Andi’s List now through Thursday, October 11th!

You can also donate directly to the Hayes Tough Foundation here.

There are so many ways that you can make a difference. Anything helps so please take a moment to give to children and their families who are fighting against cancer.

And last but not least, (and the reason I haven’t had time to do a blog post) I would like to announce that we have officially started our own business!  A few years ago, Anthony made me a few rolling racks to hang my ever growing collection of clothes that were slowly taking over our entire house.  The ones he made me have a worn blue wood base with black pipe bars.  One even has built in wire drawers, perfect for our laundry room.  They were so beautiful and original that I told him he needed to start selling them and showcasing his creations.  He kind of brushed it off until recently when we were discussing new ideas for my blog.  I suggested we start a home collection including his rolling racks and any other ideas he comes up with.  He is so creative and talented and I wanted to share that with everyone.  We came up with a design for what is now our Deluxe Rolling Rack.  Shortly after posting it on Instagram, my favorite designer and blogger, Rachel Parcell, reached out about ordering one for her gorgeous clothing line!  Anthony and I were both so flattered!  We sent her a custom gold one.  It came out so nice and looks amazing in her studio.  See below!

Since then, we have come up with different sizes and models.  We now offer matching t-stands, perfect for boutiques!

Anthony also made this rustic wine rack that I am obsessed with.

I would like to thank everyone who has been supportive in taking our hobby to the next level.  I am so blessed to have such amazing friends, family and wonderful clients.  We are looking forward to where this takes us and excited to come up with more designs.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions!  We will be taking more photos in the coming weeks of the different models we offer.

In celebration of The Andi’s List becoming an official business, we are offering $50 off $500 with code LABORDAY50.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great holiday weekend!

Hi everyone!

Last week, my friend Amy invited me over to her studio for a makeover.  She does an amazing job!  If you are in the area and looking for a makeup artist, I highly recommend her!  She even does bridal parties.  Check out my Instagram post with photos of her beautiful studio here.

I ordered this white eyelet dress dress from Rachel Parcell’s June collection.  It is the perfect fabric for summer.  I love the ruffle details and the hi-lo hemline.  My shoes were a Target find and are under $25!  I found my bag at Gap several months ago and is currently sold out, but I have linked a similar one at the bottom of the page. 🙂

Gal Meets Glam dress

Can you believe it is almost May???  Summer fashion is beginning to emerge and I am loving the blues this season.  I recently bought this Gal Meets Glam dress from Julia Engel’s new collection also available at Nordstrom.  There are so many beautiful dresses that it was hard to just choose one! I love a good maxi though and this one has pockets so I had to have it!  It is lightweight and perfect for the warmer months ahead.  A lot of dresses have sold out in most sizes, but there have been some restocks so keep checking if there is a specific one you want.  There will be new dresses each month so I know there are more beautiful things to come!  What are your favorites from the Gal Meets Glam dress collection?

Ruffle Sleeves

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while!  Between Easter, making time for Andi, keeping up with our new workout routine, and quite frankly laziness, I just haven’t had time.  Lately I have felt like my days, weeks and months are passing by me so quickly that I am being cautious how I spend my “free” time.  I try to give Andi my undivided attention whenever I can.  She is really into reading books right now.  We read about 6 per day.  Her current favorites are Monday is a Fun Day!, The Rainbow Fish (one of my childhood favorites), The Monster at the End of This Book, (another childhood favorite of mine), and Mother Bruce.  She can recite almost all the pages of Mother Bruce.  She asks every day if we can go to Miami Beach to see him.  While linking these books, I learned there are several other Bruce books in the series…  Literally just ordered them!  She is going to be so excited!

Scroll down to see an outfit I wore a few weeks ago.  I love the ruffle sleeves on my top!

Oversized Stripe Tunic

Can you believe we are almost in April?  Time is flying by so quickly!  I have been trying to get everything ready for Easter.  We are Greek Orthodox so luckily for me, our easter isn’t until April 8th, so I have a little extra time to prepare.  I am also thrilled about the discounted candy!

I wore this look a few weeks ago to run some errands.  My oversized stripe tunic and jeans are from Scout & Molly’s Boutique in Sarasota.  I LOVE this top.  The cotton is so soft and extremely lightweight.  It is French Connection, which is one of my favorite everyday brands.

Scout & Molly’s has an amazing selection of brands to choose from.  They are always getting new things in for every season.  I like that they have something for everyone and just about any occasion.  Check out a few of my previous posts featuring their products here, here and here!

Make sure to follow them on Instagram.  If you aren’t in the Sarasota area, feel free to give them a call at 941-955-2170.  They ship! 😉
