Hi everyone, we hope you’re having a happy Tuesday! We had a fun time at YiaYia and Pappou’s house yesterday and getting to see family was the perfect occasion for Andi to try out some of her clothes from baby boutiques. Andi got to play with her cousin, Paulina, for hours and hours! The best part was seeing how much fun she had and – mom confession –that she was absolutely exhausted when we got home. She didn’t even fight going to bed like she usually does!
Andi is wearing an adorable outfit from The Crafted Co, a handcrafted children’s brand right here in Florida! I love the quality and attention to detail that goes into each piece. Another adorable part of her outfit is the bib from Billy Bibs, another family-owned company out of the Pacific Northwest. They make headbands, collars, and bibs. I like that the bibs are reversible because it’s like having two in one! As any moms out there will know, it’s always good to have something that’s reversible when you have a baby!
Lastly, her bow was sent to her from one of the cutest etsy shops I’ve ever seen. They have so many different styles to choose from!
Hope you guys enjoyed this cute little blog! I really wanted to feature these items and mention that shopping small is always an option! We love ordering from smaller businesses and being able to give Andi unique pieces that are often hand-made with care!
xx Niki and Andi

Being a mom and living in Florida means two things: I need to keep things easy and cool without losing my sense of style. That’s why I’ve put together this quick breakdown of an easy Florida fashion trick involving easy-to-wear clothing to survive this heat!
I found this beautiful flowing, striped dress to be the perfect base to today’s outfit. It’s from Roulee Boutique and it checks a few things off of my list: it’s feminine, the colors are neutral, it has stripes, and it’s made from a light material.
It’s nice to dress up in structured clothing, but sometimes Florida fashion just calls for something that feels breezy and lets you move around. And this is never important than when you’re out on the town with your young child! She loves to move around and dresses like these let me keep up.
I love anything that is easy to throw on and go. This dress is just that. Great length, extremely soft, has pockets and it’s under $30!! Because the weather is unpredictable (but usually really hot),

This week we have partnered with BluTaylor™. It is an amazing company that makes these darling little hats, like the one Andi is wearing. They come in two different styles: Classic (bow) or Vintage (ruffle); a variety of colors and patterns, and several different sizes: From preemie, all the way up to adult!
They also have a wonderful Preemie Program. If you or anyone you know has a little preemie girl, you can fill out their submission form to receive a customized BluTaylor™ Preemie hat! They hope this gift will bring comfort and a sense of normalcy to such an emotional situation. Read more about their story here.
This is such a great company and their hats are absolutely adorable! They are extremely soft and lightweight- which is perfect because Andi gets hot easily. The best part is they actually stay put without falling over her eyes or coming off completely. I am excited to share more with you later on next week. Stay tuned!
And I just had to include this next picture because you can totally tell that she’s going to be a fashionista just like her mom one day!

It’s been raining here the past couple of days due to Colin. We decided it was the perfect opportunity to go to one of our local museums, so I obviously needed to put together the perfect rainy day outfit. We haven’t been since my stepdaughter was a little girl. She is 15 now! 🙂
I wore a gingham midi skirt from one of my new favorite boutique’s, Roolee. They have the CUTEST clothes and accessories. You will get to see some other great pieces I ordered from them later on.
My trick for rainy day outfits is to make sure you stay comfortable and dry. That means breaking out the rain boots, which I used as a pop of color in my overall neutral ensemble. When it comes to rain boots, I’ve noticed that they’re really an opportunity to bring some brightness into a rainy day – so pick your favorite accent color or pattern and go for it!
To add more feminine touches to this outfit, I used my delicate gold necklace as a focal point to complement the gingham.
Thankfully, my staple Neverfull bag gives me the opportunity to pack away some essentials for when the sun does decide to come out, which is why I changed into these gorgeous espadrilles.
Thanks for stopping by!

I am wearing one of my favorite skirts again and I wanted to change things up a little bit. Today I have paired it with a fun front-tie gingham shirt that is currently 30% off with code GETSHOPPING, and strappy heels. You should also know that my sunglasses are only $22! I won’t go into detail about how excited I was to see that price, but we’ll just go with “very” excited for now! 😛
When you’re styling a full midi skirt like this one, it’s important to keep things fitted and fun on top to really emphasize your waist and add more to catch the eye. That’s why this gingham shirt was absolutely perfect, and I didn’t want to keep it sitting in my closet without getting some ootd action!
These nude strappy heels also seem to be all I’m reaching for nowadays. They’re beautiful and comfortable due to the security that so many straps add!
How do you style gingham shirts? I’ve been thinking of going classic with a pair of white jeans, my Neverfull, and flats next!

Hi everyone! Tonight I wore this yellow dress from Ann Taylor and it got me thinking about how we should all take the chance to be bold in our fashion from time to time! A little about the dress: the fabric feels amazing! It is breathable and lightweight with just the right amount of swing. Since this a midi dress, you can easily dress it up with heels or throw on some flat sandals for a more casual look.
I think a lot of people stay away from wearing the color yellow because it can be a bit bold and challenging to style. Adding in a floppy hat and strappy heels to this Ann Taylor midi dress was my way of adding additional bold details to equalize everything out.
It may seem counter-intuitive and you can style a bold color like yellow with pieces like a black or nude cardigan and subtle flats, but adding a bit of flair never hurt. In this case, it gives the eye a few more things to look at rather than just focusing on the color. This allows people to really get the whole picture!
This Ann Taylor dress features a tie right around the waist, which is perfect for highlighting curves and adding some more interest to your waist. I made sure to keep mine in a loose bow to give this outfit a little bit of structure and added style.
And, in this last picture, you can really see the way a floppy hat can add some flair while also doubling as a way to keep cool and to keep your skin protected from the sun!
Have a good weekend!!

Hi everyone! Okay, so maybe Florida isn’t exactly known for having seasons, but it’s safe to say that we’re in the thick of summer right now and that airy summer clothes are a must.
We found a great spot downtown to take photos. Colorful and old brick buildings. To me, I think this spot was very reminiscent of Charleston. I was immediately drawn to this bright red door and this ootd, and I’m excited to share the other photos later this week!
I am a sucker for flowy tops and dresses, which pair perfectly with the heat we’re experiencing. This top is great with skinny jeans, leggings, and even shorts – experiment to find what works best for you! It comes in black and white and is on sale for under $23. I am wearing it with a pair of skinny stretch Hudson Jeans and Soludos Lace-Up Espadrilles. My earrings were under $35 and are dupes for the Oscar De La Renta pair!
Why I’m loving these summer clothes: This outfit just works on so many levels. If you think about summer style, there’s no way you can skim over espadrilles and stripes! So, matching your favorite pair of espadrilles with a flowing cream-colored top is a way to bring your outfit together and stay cool as the wind blowing through your top is a great way to beat the heat.
Make sure you add pops of color to such a classic outfit like I did with my favorite turquoise earrings and a wide hat can really be a high-end detail suitable for any summer outfit.
What are your favorite summer clothes? I’d love to know!
