I took a little time off to catch up on some things and spend some quality time with Andi. My birthday was last Thursday and I was so happy to spend it with my girl. I crawled in her crib in the morning when she woke up and we watched Despicable Me! (Our favorite movie!) She makes the funniest noise when you ask her “What do the Minions do?”
We spent the rest of the morning playing, dancing, reading and watching a few of her shows. I took her to Smoothie King in the afternoon for our favorite, Angel Food, then it was time for her nap. That evening, Anthony made the best fish wraps I had ever had! I am trying to talk him into making them again this week – lol!
I am trying to get ready for New York Fashion Week and I have no idea what to bring. I may have to take my camel wool coat with me. It was in the 50’s here in Florida yesterday and I was freezing. I am happy that I purchased this coat last year. It has been put to good use. I paired it with my favorite nude heels, white high rise skinny jeans and this Burberry scarf. These jeans are my all time favorite. I think I may get them in this wash as well. They also come in black and aqua!
I love how this entire outfit screams “Burberry” and classic lady-like fashion without needing a huge price tag attached to many of the items.
I’m still in the planning stage of prepping for New York Fashion week, but I’ll be keeping you guys in the loop!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Thursday! Today’s quick blog is all about Andi modeling some gorgeous baby Jack Rogers while we were out today. I am so excited that I get to spend my birthday with this girl today. She is so amazing. Wildly smart, funny and so animated. I learn more and more from her every day.
To be honest, though, this is probably the last time she can wear her baby Jack Rogers sandals. They are quite snug on her. 🙁
She loves this skirt. It is perfect to wear while dancing and I just love the ballerina look on her. I’m in awe of how pretty toddler fashion has gotten, as I’d love to have worn something like this as a little girl!
The bow in her hair pulled her outfit together, I think. It’s a gorgeous black velvet and polished off the ballerina vibe we were going for today. Plus, it just complements her little curls so well.
Happy Wednesday! January is almost coming to an end which means spring is right around the corner. The white out look is back again for 2017 so I wanted to style one of my favorite all white outfits for you today.
This white lace top from Self Portrait is absolutely beautiful. It’s sold out now but luckily I have found an identical version of it here for only $18! I definitely gravitated toward this top because it’s not your usual floral lace. Instead, this beautiful circular pattern reminds me of some of the retro and vintage prints that are also coming back into style.
All white outfits are super versatile throughout spring and summer. I think whether you’re going out for an afternoon on the water, which is something we love to do here in Sarasota, or a romantic dinner, this kind of outfit is perfect. The floweriness of this skirt complements the fitted sleeves of the white lace top and, similarly to the crop top in my last outfit, offers some chic balance.
My bag is also a designer dupe! It is the perfect size to hold your keys, lipsticks, phone, and wallet.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you guys test out some gorgeous all white outfits of your own.
Top: Shein for only $18!! | Skirt: Zara old, similar from TopShop | Bag: Designer Dupe! Mine is only $30 from Shein See the designer version here | Heels: old Lulus; similar and under $50 here | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Bracelet: old Francesca’s but similar here |
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. My mother in law and I took Andi with us to church and she actually took communion this time… For the most part. She almost fell asleep in my arms when we first got to church. She decided to get up at 6:30 am and not go back to bed like she usually does, so needless to say she was more ready than ever for her 1 pm nap.
Anyway, we were in a bright and cheery mood overall and I wanted to reflect that. That’s why this sequin crop top was perfect! I also loved the skirt so much that I had to order the top, too! I have paired it with a black Rachel Parcell pleated midi skirt, which I am obsessed with. I even wore it to church yesterday with this top.
We’re coming out of the holiday season, so a sequin crop top was a really nice way to ease into the new year and the spring weather. It’s also a good way to style a midi skirt like this one because they offer some casual balance to the look!
Though I am totally partial to these Valentino Rockstuds, they went really well with this outfit because they’re just the right mix of flirty, formal, and feminine.
Check back later this week as I will be hosting a giveaway!!
Happy Friday! Today I’m featuring Andi’s style and the way she loves designer baby changing bags! She’s absolutely already a little fashionista.
One of Andi’s favorite things to do is climb stairs. She can spend all day going up and down. When we were out taking photos last week, we came across these steps so naturally, she had to tackle them.
Since we took this photo shoot to the streets (and stairs!), she went for about 15 minutes before she decided she needed some gold fish and mandarin oranges to recharge her batteries. Andi’s sweater is an older color but there is a newer version which is adorable!
We recently got this new diaper bag to give our other one a break. They are both amazing bags. Each has various pockets inside to keep everything organized. I like that the new one can convert into a backpack. It also has exterior pockets which makes it easy to keep sippy cups, phones and keys easily accessible. There are so many designer baby changing bags out there that it can be overwhelming to choose just one.
Happy Tuesday! Today I am finally wearing a faux fur coat I bought from Piperlime (RIP) a few years ago.
I was worried it was going to go out of style before I could get a chance to wear it but luckily, I was wrong. There are so many options out there and they are definitely “in” this season. I have linked several ones similar to mine at the bottom of this post.
Because the leopard print coat is so bold, I thought I’d add some more edge to this look with the slightly torn jeans and my favorite Valentino Rockstuds. My jeans are so soft and stretchy – and under $60! I also have them in white.
Happy Friday! TGIF, am I right? I am loving the tiered sleeve sweater trend right now, so today we’re talking all about it.
Pieces with funky sleeves are on-trend this season, as are all types of statement pieces. I think these sleeves adds a nice detail and freshens up the average ribbed sweater that has been done over and over. I have paired mine with my favorite midi skirt from Rachel Parcell!
I wanted to pair the tier sleeve sweater with this type of skirt because it’s a complementary type of statement and the classic shape of it isn’t overwhelming. This color is gorgeous and perfect for this season! I have already worn mine several times. It also comes in black. She just came out with three amazing new pieces.
Check back next week when I share this beautiful pink eyelet skirt! Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Tuesday! This 90s trend is a little bit out of my norm, but I really loved this plaid mini dress – especially when paired with this black long sleeve top.
Right now, the midi dress is on sale for $22.99! They don’t have many sizes left, so hurry over to get yours before they are gone. I decided to put a black turtleneck underneath so I could wear it during our cold front here in Florida. I love being able to layer during this time of year.
The 90s trend is really in this season and I don’t think I can be upset about that! Okay, the 90s were kind of a rough patch for us all but I think this time around it’s like the polished version and that’s why I think it’s becoming so popularly.
These booties were the perfect accessory to pair with this look because they’re super comfortable as well as retro-looking.
Happy Monday! Florida is finally catching up with everyone else on the cold weather. It has been freezing, for us anyway. I decided to break out my faux leather leggings and these suede wedge ankle booties. I’m finally tackling the trend and I really love the way this outfit looks!

I am obsessed with both! The leggings are by SPANX. They are so slimming and control all the problem areas. They also come in a really pretty gunmetal and wine color. My lipstick is my absolute favorite nude lip color. It goes on smooth and lasts for hours.
I know Lilly Pulitzer just had their big After Party Sale, but have you checked out some of their new items? The pieces are absolutely stunning! I knew I had to have this Kaftan as soon as I saw it. It is the perfect length and the gold detail is even prettier in person.
