I hope you are enjoying your week so far. We took Andi to Epcot on Monday since she didn’t have school. It was the last day of their art festival so we wanted to get up there one last time. I am obsessed with the deconstructed BLT! I have gotten it every time we have been the past few months. Andi’s favorite is the fried rice in China. We tell her that Mulan makes it and she eats everything on her plate. Whatever works, right??
I bought this bell sleeved sweater last year but they are still available in select colors and sizes, and its on sale! I have linked more options below. My pink ruffle skirt is another favorite from the Rachel Parcell Collection. I am so excited that I finally got to meet her last week! She is so talented and inspiring. Check out my Instagram to see our photo together.
I have to say that it does NOT feel like February here in Florida… I know that we do not get winters like my northern friends but there is usually some sort of cold front or chill in the air around this time. Andi and I went to the Greek festival at our church this weekend and we are usually freezing. This year we were dripping in sweat. I think I enjoy it cold much better, but we still had a nice time.
I shared this look last week on Instagram and a few people asked about my leopard pants. They are extremely soft with a drawstring elastic waistband and POCKETS! They are so comfortable I feel like I am wearing pajamas. You can get these and my top from Scout & Molly’s of Sarasota!
We are between cold fronts here, so I figured I would wear this fun Spring polka dot dress that I recently picked up at Scout & Molly’s in Sarasota! It is the perfect packable dress as it does not wrinkle! It has a flirty ruffle detail that is just perfect for Spring!
If you are in the Sarasota area, stop by Scout & Molly’s this Thursday, February 8th from 5-7 for their Galentine’s Extravaganza! Enjoy 10% off everything that is pink or red and enter to win a Gigi New York crossbody bag. I will be there along with Christin Long from iViva Vitale and Cinthya of Cinthya’s skin & body care. Bring your girlfriends and come on down!
I took last week off for a little family time. My birthday was on the 26th so we decided to take Andi to Disney for a couple of days. She loved it, as usual! We stayed in what she called “the princess bedroom”. There were framed photos of different princesses on the wall, Aladdin’s magic carpet on the floor and the headboards even did a little firework light show with the push of a button. I will do a post with some of the highlights from our trip later this week.
I wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago during our last cold front. I am going to have to get my spring pink trench coat back out on Wednesday because we have another front coming through. I love, love this color pink, especially now that we are getting so close to Spring! What is your favorite Spring color?
Sorry I haven’t written anything in a while. To be honest, I have been enjoying my new Hulu and Netflix memberships! I know, it is 2018. Where have we been? I got Hulu for Will & Grace, and Netflix for The Office… Both of which are back on regular cable, but I am happy we signed up. Andi has really been enjoying the movie options. Especially Moana! We watch it everyday, twice a day. No joke. Go ahead and have a drink for me. 😉
I got this sweater last year in black and loved it so much. I wanted to order the white but it sold out quickly. I was thrilled to see that they brought it back again this year so I snagged one right away! I love Club Monaco’s sweaters. They are some of the softest ones that I own and the quality is amazing.
Last week, I went downtown with my girl to take some photos. She loves getting dressed up for pictures now. Her dress is from Gymboree last year. I am excited that it finally fits her, just in time for Valentine’s Day! We are taking my girl to Disney this week so stay tuned for lots of Instagram stories and photos from our trip. Any guesses on which resort we will be staying at this time? Here is a hint: It is a Disney Resort.
I hope you are having a great New Year so far. I cannot believe this weather on the east coast! Luckily, we do not have freezing temperatures in Florida, but it has been cold enough to really start breaking out the layers.
I wore this stripe sweater with OTK boots a few weeks ago when the temperatures started to drop. I love the white braided ribbon on the back of my stripe sweater. Details like that make it actually fun to dress warm. My sweater, jeans and earrings are all great pieces from Scout & Molly’s Boutique in Sarasota! They have some fabulous cold weather items right now that will keep you warm while looking chic!
I hope you enjoyed the Holidays! I am sad that the holiday season is coming to an end. We are still listening to Christmas music! Andi’s favorite song is “Frosty the Snowman”. We sing it every night before bed.. multiple times!
Today I am wearing this open back sweater that I picked up from Scout & Molly’s Boutique in Sarasota. It is extremely soft! I love the oversized look and the open back is such a fun trend right now. I paired it with white jeans and booties, my go to winter look. How would you style it?
Is anyone else running around like a crazy person this week? I still have a lot of wrapping to do but I am just about done shopping (thank goodness). I took Andi to the mall the other day so she could pick out some gifts for her teachers and she informed me that she needed to see Santa again. Apparently, she had to tell him about thesetwo purses that she fell in love with the other day when we were out. Luckily for her, I think she gave him the message just in time. ;o)
I wore this outfit the other day from Scout & Molly’s Boutique, and got so many compliments on my Lilla P top. It has rose gold lurex stripes and button detailing down the back. It is lightweight, seasonless and extremely versatile. It can be worn with a high waisted skirt, a pair of shorts or how I am wearing it with jeans and pumps. Speaking of jeans, these AGOLDE released hem skinny jeans are AMAZING! I also picked these up at Scout & Molly’s. They are my favorite pair and have been on major repeat. I am practically living in them.
If you are not in the Sarasota area or just don’t have time to drop by, you can give Scout & Molly’s a call to order over the phone at 941-955-2170. They just got in some gorgeous new arrivals and they are moving FAST. They have a large selection of holiday and New Year’s dresses that are just stunning.
Is anyone else starting to panic that Christmas will be here in just 9 days!? I intend on getting everything done in the next couple of days but I will not be surprised if I am running around like a crazy person on Christmas eve.
I wore this look a few weeks ago and cannot get enough of these pants! They have an elastic waistband (score!) and the color is perfect for the holidays. They even come in black which I am considering ordering as well, but I knew I needed these red lace beauties as soon as I saw them.
The weekend is here! Do you have plans to go to any holiday parties in the next few weeks? I have found a perfect dress for the occasion! This black lace dress is one of my favorite dresses of all time! The lace detailing is so special. I wore mine with red pumps but it would also look great with black pumps, dressy flats or even a pair of black ankle booties for a more edgy look. Red lipstick is one of my favorite things so I have been wearing all of my favorites. Here I am wearing Butter London Red Hot liner with Mac Red lipstick. I shared both on my Instagram a few weeks ago. I really like the liner because on one end it has a lipstick brush, which is perfect to use to apply darker lipsticks for a more precise application.
