Happy Wednesday! I wanted to talk about how the gingham trend is sticking around and is still a big staple in my wardrobe. This gingham skirt has everything I could ever ask for: the beautiful pattern, of course, but also pockets and that midi length that I love so much. I could go on and on about it.
My skirt is so comfortable and is under $18. The button detailing that goes down the front of the skirt is something I’ve featured before, and it’s still a great way to add some vintage and flattering charm to a big flowy skirt. It also came with a brown belt! I have also linked similar skirts below.
I decided to pair this look with a basic black tank top because I think that less really is more sometimes and I wanted to let the skirt make a statement by itself. My tank comes in four different colors and is also 40% off- no code needed. It is extremely soft. I think I may order it in a few other colors. It is such a great basic for my wardrobe.
Okay? Remember when I mentioned that hats are the easiest way to feel like a fashionista? I still absolutely feel that way. There really is something magical about putting on such a classicly feminine outfit and topping it off with a beautiful hat. The entire black and white look is pulled together and elevated by just using a hat as an accessory.
Styling this outfit with my Celine Luggage was also a no-brainer today. Though I think this outfit would look amazing with a bright clutch or cute crossbody, there was just something about carrying a handbag on the crook of your arm that brings on that elegant vibe. Does anyone else agree?
Andi also wanted to make an appearance and show off her ridiculously cute baby tutu! We’re still working on getting her 1st birthday pictures up so stay tuned!
Thanks for stopping by!
xx Niki and Andi
