Happy Wednesday, everyone! 4th of July has officially passed and we had surprisingly nice weather, which was perfect for fireworks and getting some BBQ on the grill with family and friends. Since it was a little breezy, I made sure that my outfit was the perfect to transition from day-to-night to stay comfy and cute. That’s why this is one of my favorite ever 4th of July outfits.
Even though we live in Florida, it’s important to keep in mind that your layering game should still be on point! It’s fun to experiment with “Fall” styles that fashion-lovers up North get to live in from day-to-day, and this was my take on it.
My dress was a pretty coral color and light fabric, which was perfect for the day when the sun made things a little hotter. As the day went on, this dress was the perfect base for a fitted denim jacket and then a beige scarf.
Although I definitely think I could have gotten away with some nice slouchy boots, I didn’t want to get too lost in my autumn dreams so I kept things summery with these beautiful snakeskin sandals. Their small heel is comfortable yet fancy with the metallic gold accent.
Overall, I really loved how comfortable and cozy I felt in this outfit! Here’s a full #ootd for you all to see.
I hope you all had a fun and safe 4th of July. Anthony smoked some delicious pork and brisket, which Andi LOVED, and then we watched some fireworks, which Andi did NOT love. She is more of a quiet sparkler kind of girl so we’ll be sure to keep that in mind next year. Overall, it was a nice day!
