The Gingham & Ruffle Dress

Happy Wednesday!! As you can probably tell, I’m still loving gingham and flowy dresses – but this time I’ve decided to add a piece to my collection that tackled the ruffle trend that’s so popular lately!

We took a walk with Andi downtown last night.  It was a little stormy, but not as hot as it has been.  My red ruffle dress was perfect for our evening stroll.  The fabric feels so cool on my skin.  It is fully lined and comes with a removable tie belt.  It is currently on sale for $53.47.

If you’re similar to me and the idea of wearing a super loose dress scares you, like it did to me before I jumped in headfirst into this trend, try looking for items that are loose but have a belt to cinch your waist in. It’s the best way to get the best of both worlds between a fitted dress and a flowy one.

This ruffle dress also has some extra pizazz because of the double layer of ruffles, which I think is a really nice and cute touch!

Andi was also summer-ready with her cute watermelon top and little shorts! We loved looking through all the flowers and taking in the nice day as we walked around.

The sandals I paired with this outfit were a nude strappy flat with tassel details. And let me tell you, they go with everything and also come in black.  They are extremely comfortable and are on sale for under $35! If you’re more of a heel girl, or want to dress an outfit like this up, you can go for a bold red lip, a black clutch, and matching black pumps to tie everything together.

Thanks for stopping by!!
