Happy Tuesday!
Whether you live in Florida year round, or just visit during our “winter”, it can get pretty tricky when it comes to picking out or packing an outfit. We don’t really get a true winter. I like to refer to it as “periodic cold fronts” – lol! Even when we do get a cold front, half the time it is freezing in the morning, hot in the afternoon, and back to freezing when the sun goes down.
Layers are key for optimal comfort and survival. Luckily, the coldest it has been so far is in the 50’s. For our first temperature drop, I decided to wear my favorite cable knit sweater. It comes in three different colors ( I really like the heather carbon) and it is on sale with an additional 30% off with code BIGSALE! I have paired it with a skirt I bought during a Black Friday sale. It was originally sold out but they have restocked and it is available in most sizes again! If you like it, I would grab one now before they sell out again. I don’t think they will last long.
I know I mentioned this in a previous blog, but I really do love combining a cozy knit sweater with a more formal skirt. And since we’re right out of the holiday season, this glittery skirt was the perfect match!
If it were a little colder, I could add some tights for a perfect winter ensemble. Check back this week, as I will be adding more Florida winter styles!
What are your go-to “cold” Florida looks?
xx Niki
